Unmercenary Sacred Music Russian and Kievan Chant Kievan Psalm 104 for Great Vespers

This setting of Psalm 104 is based on Kievan Chant tone 4.  This setting is a reharmonization of a version used at Holy Transfiguration Orthodox Church in Livionia, Michigan.  It was also reset with modern verb and pronoun usuage.  It is set for SATB and cantor.  It is assumed that the cantor can freely do the reader parts using the tone 4 which is represented by the soprano line in this setting.  Psalm 104 can be downloaded or viewed here as a PDF file.
